The vocal performances oscillate between be- \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003eing blasé, vulnerable and manic; \"Sweet Release\" meets power-ballad criteria \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003esolely due to Spike's deteriorating cries into the void, the jittery delivery on \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003e\"Getting Sober\" embodies religious fanaticism while sounding like a pop \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003esong written by Suicide for a David Lynch film. \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003eevidence is an album that lives outside the limits of discourse; it's purpose is \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003eeponymous and self-evident.
