Gathering together rare recordings, compilation tracks, limited edition releases, collaborations and hidden gems from their ever-expanding musical world, Library Music: Volume Two is another vibrant and varied collection of electronic indie pop, in all it's guises.

Far from a conventional odds and ends collection, the double LP compilation reveals another side of a band who have always treated the spaces between albums as places to explore. These are the moments where ideas stretch out; there are hypnotic drones, motorik rhythms, glowing analogue textures, pastoral electronics and the warm, melodic melancholy that has become unmistakably The Leaf Library. There is the electro-pop of Flowers At The Border, the psych rock-adjacent Building Better Worlds, and the gentle chamber shuffle of Kendrick Road. Tracks range from the 22 minute folk kosmiche epic Versatile Clouds to the 59 seconds, record skip punctuation mark of Harmonic Runout, with a whole array of trips, ideas and experiments in between. Since forming in a pre-Ghost Box, Castles in Space and Clay Pipe world, The Leaf Library have carved out a unique place somewhere between dream pop, kosmische repetition and experimental songcraft - drawing comparisons to Stereolab, Broadcast, Yo La Tengo and the outer edges of library music, while creating a sound entirely their own.

TRACKS:

1 Flowers at the Border

2 The Long Dead King

3 Bowed Clusters

4 I Learned to Swim Under Water

5 Building Better Worlds

6 Harmonic Runout

7 Kendrick Road

8 Sailing Day (Wintergreen Remix)

9 Versatile Clouds

10 Bells and Thread

11 No Memories, No Plans

12 Everyone I Met Today

13 Tired Ghost in Orbit

How long will shipping take?

Item is In Stock/Inbound

Item is on Pre-Order

Item is on Backorder

Orders will ship within 1 day of being available

Orders will ship near or on release date, as they are checked in

Orders will ship as they become available, and may take 2-12 weeks

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0560/8321/8590/files/image_d982beb9-d6b6-4c4f-ba17-4eb388902107.jpg?v=1793335766
